Handz-On, Inc. is an agency with locations serving Connecticut and Western Massachusetts, working with the State of Connecticut Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, Massachusetts Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. Also, through the mental health waiver, Handz-On provides services under the Massachusetts initiative “Money Follows the Person” (MFP), as well as the ABI waiver.
Our work is client-centered, relationship-based and culturally competent. We respect the dignity of all individuals and families. At Handz-On, we understand that each individual case is different, therefore we individualize direct care based on our client’s needs.
Handz-On, Inc. is in the business of taking individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI) & Mental Health Disabilities out of nursing homes and placing them back into the community with support and resources to make them functioning members of society.

At Handz-On, Inc., we understand that each individual case is different; therefore, we individualize direct care based on our client’s needs. Our goal is to provide our clients with the skills they need to live a more independent life and achieve all of their goals. Our ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) program focuses on integrating our clients into the community and teaching them skills needed to live a more independent life. We offer Independent Living Skills Training (ILST), companion services, pre-vocational services, and/or respite services.
